    Sewer Treatment

Tertiary sewer treatment for Northstar effluent is provided by the Tahoe Truckee Sanitation Agency located in the Martis Valley. The District provides the operation and maintenance of the collection system and transmission of sewer to that agency. The collection and transmission system is comprised of 26 miles of line within the District, two pumping stations and an inverted siphon system that runs from the Northstar golf course to the airport access road.

Northstar Utility Department is responsible for the operations and maintenance of our sewer colection and transmission systems.
